Boys, Girls, Alcohol and the USO - 1944

In the course of researching I occasionally find letters such as the one below, dated 20 April 1944. This aspect of civilian defense fell under the Citizens Service Corps (as opposed to the defense corps). While there is a serious aspect to the concern expressed in this letter, it also is amusing to realize that some things never change, no matter what the conflict.
