Quick Update on my Research

Apologies for not posting in the past few weeks. School is back in full swing and I'm a bit overwhelmed with odds and ends. The good news is that my article on the North Carolina Wing of the Civil Air Patrol in World War II will be published. The journal accepted it with revisions and thus far my weeks have involved additional research and rewriting of the article. The biggest challenge by far is revising the argument to address several issues. Nothing major in the grand scheme of thing, but just one where I want to strike a nice balance between causal factors.

Hopefully next week I will commence intensive organization of the 55GBs of data from my archival research. The sheer volume of NCCD history I have acquired is staggering, and yet there is still more to gather! Granted, the upshot is an endless supply of blog posts.
